What happens during a CT scan
You lie on a motorized table that moves through the ring of the scanner. The exam usually takes a few minutes. It is important to stay still and follow the breathing instructions.
Contraindications and precautions
- Previous reaction to an iodinated contrast agent: tell us when you book; a preparation or another exam may be offered.
